Surah Yunus Roundel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

A circular panel of Thuluth calligraphy, cut as one piece. The small medallion at the centre carries the Basmala, bismillah al-rahman al-rahim, ringed by two fine concentric lines. Around it the ninth and tenth verses of Surah Yunus run in a full circle, their upright alifs fanning outward like rays so the whole disc reads as a sunburst. The verses end on alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin, and the line closes back on the point where it began, at the foot of the circle.

A round piece anchors a wall that square frames do not suit: above a console, over a bed, at the turn of a staircase, or centred on a majlis wall. At 60 cm it reads as a quiet medallion; at 120 cm it becomes the one thing in the room. Gloss piano black keeps the line graphic and holds its own against pale plaster. Mirror gold warms the letterforms and picks up lamplight after dark. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and sits well with grey, stone and glass.

• Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
• Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
• Sizes: stated by diameter — the piece is round, so width and height match (60 cm to 120 cm).
• Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
• Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
• Gifting: a steady choice for a new home, a wedding or a graduation, and it suits a wall that already has a Qur'anic piece on it.
