Surah Al-Ikhlas Thuluth Panel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

The whole of Surah Al-Ikhlas is set here in classical Thuluth, with the opening word Qul drawn at full height on the right so that its alif and the deep bowl of the lam carry the entire composition. The remaining verses run in two tightly stacked lines beside it — Huwa Allahu Ahad, Allahu as-Samad, lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad. The upright strokes are cut to an even comb along the top edge and the vowel marks are kept as separate floating pieces, so the panel reads as one continuous passage rather than four separate verses.

The proportions are wide rather than tall, which suits the wall above a sideboard, a sofa or a headboard, and it works along a hallway where a taller piece would crowd the space. In gloss piano black the surah reads as solid drawing, the strokes holding a sharp edge against a pale wall. Mirror gold warms the whole panel and throws the letterforms forward under a downlight. Mirror chrome silver is the quietest of the three and settles into a room already working in greys and cool neutrals.
