Surah Al-Falaq Stacked Thuluth — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art
The opening verse of Surah Al-Falaq — Qul a'udhu bi rabbil-falaq, "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak" — drawn as a single stacked Thuluth composition. The lam of qul rises the full height of the piece like a mast, and the three words beneath it nest into one another, each line curving into the sweep of the one above until the whole thing settles into a tapered oval. The vowel marks, the shadda over rabbi and the dotted letters are cut as separate floating pieces, so the verse reads as one continuous drawing rather than a block of text.
It is a tall piece: at 80 cm wide it stands roughly 118 cm high, so measure your drop before choosing a size. It suits a stairwell, a narrow wall beside a doorway, or the run above a console in a majlis or entrance hall — anywhere the eye travels upward. In gloss piano black the script reads like ink against pale plaster. Mirror gold warms the composition and catches lamplight along the long stems. Mirror chrome silver is the quietest of the three and sits easily with grey, concrete and cooler modern rooms.
