SubhanAllah Thuluth Calligraphy — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

Two words in flowing Thuluth: SubhanAllah — glory be to God. The phrase runs as one long horizontal line, the teeth of the sīn stepping up from the right, the deep bowl of the ḥāʾ sweeping beneath the baseline, and the lām of Allah rising into a pair of tall uprights at the centre. Long diagonal strokes cross above the line and the vowel marks are cut as separate floating pieces, so the panel reads as drawing as much as text. It is a single piece, a little over twice as wide as it is tall.

A panoramic piece wants a long wall: above a sofa or a console table, along a hallway, over a bed head, or above the doorway in a majlis. At the 120 cm width the panel stands roughly 52 cm tall, so measure the run before ordering. In gloss piano black the strokes sit as a flat silhouette against a pale wall and the eye simply follows the line. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and picks up the colours of the room around it. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and reads cleanest against deep or textured paint.
