Start with Bismillah Oval Panel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

An upright oval panel carrying five lines of remembrance, read from the top down: start with Bismillah, end with Alhamdulillah, appreciate with SubhanAllah, hope with InshaAllah, and life will be blessed by Allah. The words are set in transliterated English rather than Arabic script — a flowing script face for the connecting phrases, a bold rounded capital for each of the names — and every line is divided from the next by a fine cut rule. Arabesque scrollwork fills the crown and the foot of the oval, closing the frame at both ends.

The vertical proportion suits a narrow wall: beside a doorway, above a console in the hallway, on the stretch of wall at the top of a staircase, or in a prayer corner where the lines can be read at standing height. At 80 cm wide the panel stands about 108 cm tall, so check your drop before ordering. Gloss piano black reads as a clean silhouette against pale paint. Mirror gold warms under a downlight and picks up the room behind it. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and sharper, and sits well against grey or stone walls.

• Gifting: a steady everyday reminder rather than an occasion piece — it suits a new home, a nikah, or a family member setting up a place of their own.
