Shahada Teardrop Calligraphy — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

The Shahada — لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله — drawn as a teardrop. The declaration rises through the centre of the roundel in classical Thuluth, the alifs and lams carried upward and gathered into a single tapering finial above the circle, while محمد رسول الله settles broad and low across the base. A ring of much finer calligraphy wraps the roundel, and a slim rectangular border with arabesque corner motifs holds the whole arrangement. It is a tall, upright piece: at the 60 cm width it stands roughly 92 cm from the tip of the finial to the lower edge, so check your drop before ordering.

Those proportions suit the narrow walls that usually go empty — a hallway between two doors, the strip beside a staircase, the wall above a console in an entrance. It also hangs well on its own at eye level in a prayer room or a study. Gloss piano black gives the sharpest reading of the letterforms and sits quietly against a pale wall. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and picks up the colour of the room around it. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and more architectural, and holds its own against grey, stone or dark paint.
