Sabr, Shukr, Dua & Tawakkul — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art
Four square panels, hung two by two, each carrying a single Arabic word cut in flowing script with its transliteration set in clean capitals along the lower edge. Sabr (صبر) is patience, shukr (شكر) is gratitude, dua (دعاء) is supplication, tawakkul (توكّل) is trust placed in Allah. The frames are left open, so the wall shows through inside each square and the calligraphy reads as line rather than mass. Together the four are a quiet rule of life rather than a quotation — a reminder in four words, not a verse.
The grid suits a wall that wants structure: above a console in an entryway, along a staircase, in a prayer corner or a reading room, or spaced a little wider across a bedroom wall. Gloss piano black keeps a hard graphic edge and reads almost as ink against a pale wall. Mirror gold warms the room and catches lamplight after dark. Mirror chrome silver stays cool and architectural, and sits well with grey, concrete and glass. Each panel is float-mounted, so all four carry their own shadow.
- Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
- Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
- Sizes: stated by the overall width across all four panels; height scales in proportion, so the 120 cm set hangs about 115 cm tall.
- Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
- Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
- Gifting: a set of four rather than a single piece, which makes it a substantial gift for a new home, a wedding or a housewarming.
Every piece is cut to order in our Dubai workshop: allow 1–3 working days before dispatch, then 1–2 days in transit anywhere in the UAE. Delivery from AED 30 — cash on delivery is available. Standard pieces can be returned within 7 days, unused and in their original packing (return shipping is paid by the customer); personalised pieces are made for you and are not returnable unless faulty.
