Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

This panel carries the opening line of Surah al-Ikhlas — Qul huwa Allahu ahad, “Say: He is Allah, the One.” It is drawn in Thuluth, with the words stacked and interlocked rather than set along a line: qul and huwa hold the lower right, ahad sweeps out across the base in one long shallow bowl, and the name of Allah sits above them with its alifs rising through the centre to a fine point. The whole block gathers into a tall teardrop, and the vowel marks are cut as small shapes filling the gaps between the letters, which keeps a composition this dense readable from across a room.

The proportions are narrow and upright — at 60 cm wide the piece stands about 109 cm high — so it suits the walls a wide frame cannot take: beside a doorway, up a stairwell, on the slim run between two windows, or above a console in an entrance hall. Measure your drop before choosing a width. Gloss piano black reads as a clean silhouette against pale plaster and is the quietest of the three. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and lifts a darker wall. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and picks up whatever colour the room already has.

• Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
• Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
• Sizes: stated by width; this is a tall panel, so height runs roughly 1.8× the width — 30 cm wide is about 55 cm high, 60 cm wide about 109 cm.
• Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
• Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
• Gifting: the shortest declaration of God's oneness in the Qur'an — it suits a new home, a nikah or a prayer corner, and it is not tied to a season.
