Qul A'udhu bi Rabbin-Nas — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

The opening verse of Surah an-Nas — قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ, "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind" — drawn as a single Thuluth roundel. The tall lam of qul rises clear of everything else like a mast, and the rest of the verse coils beneath it: the deep bowl of the qaf under its two dots, the looped ayn and waw of a'udhu, and the long sweeping sin that closes an-Nas. The letters interlock rather than sit on a line, so the piece reads as one continuous mark before it resolves into words.

It is a tall piece — at 80 cm wide it stands about 118 cm high — so it wants a full wall rather than the gap above a sideboard: a stairwell, an entrance hall, the end of a corridor, or the wall beside a prayer space. Gloss piano black reads as a drawn line and holds its shape against pale paint. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and lifts off a darker wall. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and quieter, and suits grey or concrete-toned rooms where a warm metal would compete.

  • Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
  • Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
  • Sizes: stated by width — 40, 50, 60 and 80 cm; height scales in proportion, reaching about 118 cm at the widest size.
  • Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
  • Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
  • Gifting: a year-round piece rather than a seasonal one — it suits a new home, a nikah, or someone who asked for something Qur'anic rather than decorative.
