Muhammad Rasul Allah Roundel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

A single unbroken ring holds the whole piece. The large letters inside it spell Muhammad in Thuluth — the initial meem at the top right with its open counter, the ha sweeping down through the centre and carrying a long flat tail out to the rim, then the second meem and the dal closing the name on the left. Threaded through the upper half, written much smaller, are the words Rasul Allah — Messenger of God. Ring and letters are drawn as one closed outline, so the piece is cut from a single sheet with nothing joined or glued.

At 60 cm it sits well above a console table or a reading chair. At 100 or 120 cm it becomes the one thing on a majlis or entryway wall and wants clear space either side of it. Gloss piano black reads as a clean silhouette against pale plaster and is the easiest of the three to live with. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and picks up whatever is in the room behind it. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and sharper, and suits grey, concrete or stone walls.
