Mashallah Tabarakallah Thuluth Calligraphy Acrylic Wall Art

Ma sha Allah, tabarak Allah — words spoken in gratitude at the sight of something good. A first home. A new baby. A room that has finally come together. We have left the phrase in Arabic and untranslated; it is better known by the moments it belongs to than by any one rendering into English.

The line is set in Thuluth, the classical hand with tall verticals and long, sweeping curves, and runs wide across the wall in a single horizontal sweep rather than stacking into a square.

Each piece is cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop from 3mm cast acrylic, then float-mounted so the whole line stands clear of the wall. In gloss piano black it reads as its own shadow, while mirror gold and mirror chrome take on whatever light the room is holding at the time.
