Masha'Allah La Quwwata Illa Billah — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

A single line of Thuluth calligraphy runs the full width of this panel, reading ما شاء الله لا قوة إلا بالله — Masha’Allah, la quwwata illa billah: “What God has willed; there is no power except with God.” The words are taken from Surah al-Kahf, and are traditionally said on seeing something good, to return the credit for it rather than claim it. The drawing keeps the classical proportions of the script — tall upright alifs and lams gathered into a cluster of fine diacritics above the baseline, the strokes thinning and swelling as a reed pen would cut them, and the closing lafz al-Jalalah bringing the line to rest.

The format is deliberately panoramic, close to three times wider than it is tall, which makes it a natural fit for the span above a sofa, a bed, a long console or a doorway — places where a square piece leaves the wall looking unfinished. The 120 cm panel stands roughly 41 cm tall, so check your drop before choosing. Gloss piano black reads as a clean silhouette against pale paint or plaster. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and holds its own on deeper, saturated walls. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and more architectural, and sits well among steel, glass and grey stone.
