La Ilaha Illa Allah Thuluth Panel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

The first half of the Shahada — la ilaha illa Allah, there is no god but Allah — drawn as one unbroken horizontal line of Thuluth. Read right to left it opens on the broad crossed lam-alif of la, passes through the looped ha of ilaha, crosses a second lam-alif for illa, and settles into Allah with its shadda riding above the twin uprights. The final ha closes into a tight loop, then a long tapered stroke carries the eye off the left edge. Every vowel mark is cut as its own small piece.

The proportions ask for a wide wall rather than a tall one: above a sofa or a console, along a hallway, over a bed, or in a majlis where one long line holds better than a square frame. At 120 cm across the panel stands roughly 55 cm tall. Gloss piano black keeps a hard edge against pale plaster and reads as drawing more than object. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and takes in the room behind it. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and more graphic against grey, concrete or darker paint.
