Bismillah Roundel — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art
The Basmala — بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم, "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" — composed as a single rounded medallion in Thuluth. The letters are stacked and interlaced rather than set along a line: the opening ba of بسم sweeps across the base and drops its dot below, the tall alifs and lams of الله rise through the centre like a crown, and the closing letters curl back on themselves so the whole phrase settles into a circle. It is cut as one continuous piece, with the counters left open so the wall colour reads through the script.
The piece is square, so it suits the walls a wide panel fights: centred above a console or sideboard, over a prayer corner, on a stair landing, or alone on a broad hallway wall where it can be read from a distance. Gloss piano black holds as a clean silhouette against pale plaster and lets the cut edges do the work. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and carries the most presence of the three. Mirror chrome silver stays cooler and sharper, and sits well against grey, charcoal or stone.
- Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
- Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
- Sizes: stated by width; the piece is square, so the height matches it — 60 cm to 120 cm.
- Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
- Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
- Gifting: Bismillah is what you say before beginning, which makes it a steady housewarming, wedding or new-business gift rather than an occasion piece.
Every piece is cut to order in our Dubai workshop: allow 1–3 working days before dispatch, then 1–2 days in transit anywhere in the UAE. Delivery from AED 30 — cash on delivery is available. Standard pieces can be returned within 7 days, unused and in their original packing (return shipping is paid by the customer); personalised pieces are made for you and are not returnable unless faulty.
