Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem — Thuluth Cartouche Acrylic Wall Art

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem — In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful — drawn in classical Thuluth, the tall, sweeping hand long favoured for ornamental inscription. The script sits inside an ornamental cartouche, bordered by a run of eight-point stars in the Islamic geometric tradition, and the whole piece is composed horizontally for the walls that ask for width: above an entrance, along a majlis wall, or over a console table.

Every line is cut on our own CO2 laser from 3mm cast acrylic, then float-mounted so the piece stands off the wall and carries a soft shadow behind the letterforms. Choose gloss piano black for quiet contrast on pale plaster, mirror gold for warmth against deeper paint, or mirror silver where the room is already cool and bright.
