Ayatul Kursi Teardrop Plaque in Laser-Cut Acrylic

Ayatul Kursi set as a teardrop, framed by a fine ornamental border, cut as a solid plaque.

This is a negative design: the panel is the material and the verse is the void, so the wall colour behind it becomes part of the piece.

Cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop from 3 mm cast acrylic, then float-mounted so the piece stands a little off the wall and casts its own shadow. In gloss piano black it reads graphic and still; in mirror gold or mirror silver it picks up whatever light the room is holding.
