Allahu Akbar Thuluth Calligraphy — Acrylic Islamic Wall Art

الله أكبر — Allahu Akbar, “Allah is greater” — drawn as a single interlocking Thuluth composition. The name of Allah stands at the right, its alif and two lams rising as straight shafts with the shadda and dagger alif set above them. From there the line runs leftward: the kaf throws its long arm in a shallow arc across the top of the piece, the ba drops into a wide trough with its diamond point beneath it, and the ra closes the phrase in one deep sweeping bowl at the lower left. The vowel marks are cut as separate floating pieces.

The proportion is wider than it is tall — about 95 cm high at the 120 cm width — so it suits the walls that are already horizontal: above a majlis sofa, over a console in the entrance hall, along a dining wall, or above a headboard. Gloss piano black reads as clean ink against pale plaster and holds the fine vowel marks sharply. Mirror gold warms under lamplight and picks up the colours of the room around it. Mirror chrome silver is the coolest of the three and sits easily with grey, concrete and darker paint.

• Material: 3mm cast acrylic, cut on the CO2 laser in our own Dubai workshop.
• Finishes: gloss piano black, mirror gold, or mirror chrome silver.
• Sizes: stated by width — 60, 80, 100 and 120 cm; height scales in proportion, roughly 48 cm to 95 cm.
• Mounting: float-mounted — it sits off the wall rather than flat against it.
• Made in the UAE: drawn, cut and finished in our Dubai workshop.
• Gifting: a year-round dhikr rather than a seasonal piece — it suits a new home, a nikah, or a majlis that needs one strong line on the wall.
