Hanging wall clocks and art: a placement guide

Acryhome ·

A beautiful piece deserves the right spot. A few guidelines make all the difference between decor that feels intentional and decor that floats awkwardly on the wall.

Height

Hang wall art so its centre sits at eye level — around 145–150 cm from the floor. Above a sofa or console, leave 20–25 cm between the furniture and the bottom of the piece.

Large DIY clocks

Our large DIY clocks (up to 32 inches) are installed piece by piece with the included stencil and adhesive. Mark the centre first, work outwards, and press each numeral firmly for 30 seconds. Install on a clean, dry wall and let the adhesive cure for a few hours before attaching the needles.

Islamic calligraphy and sets

Multi-frame sets (like 3-panel calligraphy) read best with even spacing of 5–8 cm between frames. Lay the arrangement out on the floor first, then transfer measurements to the wall.

Mirrors and self-adhesive pieces

Self-adhesive acrylic mirrors need a smooth, dust-free surface — painted walls, tile or glass. Avoid textured or freshly painted walls (wait at least 3 weeks after painting).
